Epic Games Launcher is a mostly-black rectangle

Hi. I downloaded Epic Games Launcher https://launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com/launcher/api/installer/download/EpicGamesLauncherInstaller.msi

It runs, and gets to the point where it shows a black rectangle. It's not completely non-functional, though. It draws its own window controls (minimize, close) and they work. It also has a "settings" icon on the bottom left that actually works - shows a settings screen and everything.

But I can't install the dang goose game!

wine-4.19 (Staging) and WINEARCH=win64
