Can't make Epubs #1351
Comments
Please kindly update the app to version 2.0.0 if it's not, thank you. Unless it is a typo, please fix at your earliest convenience. |
Issues on 1.1.19 won't be addressed anymore. The export to epub feature is again available since beta 3. However I leave this issue open because the issue most likely still persists, since beta 3 uses almost the same export method. |
Hi @ModdyxBeast, can you elaborate on this? |
Same issue here using beta 3 on Android 15 |
I'm on 2.0.0 beta3 too (Android 12), and I also can't make epubs from Webnovel.com downloaded content. Not sure if it makes a difference, I didn't download all the chapters. There's a section where no chapters were downloaded, and the chapters are also locked. I assumed it would simply skip these chapters? |

Does the app produce an epub that you can't open in any reader? If yes then please post this epub here in some way to investigate. |
So here link |
Steps to reproduce
1.Download chapters

2.Click on Select EPUB storage directory
3.Choose either the default storage location or make a new one.
4. Click in submit
Expected behavior
The epub should be downloaded.
Actual behavior
Get message stating cannot create because of Error: file or folder does not exist.
LNReader version
1.1.19
Android version
Android 14
Device
Samsung A54 5G
Other details
I switched over to the three beta versions of 2.0.0 and in all of besides Beta 2 I couldn't get the plug ins to work. In Beta 2 I could, but there's no option to make downloaded chapters into Epubs, so I hope you guys don't mind.
