3.3 dev branch

Hi all,

Just a quick heads up about some updates to our branches and release dates. Originally we had planned to release 3.3 with some changes to componentization and UI. The intent was to create mainly a no-op release with html moved to components. However that branch has grown in scope and size to the point where we can no longer call this 3.3.

The 3.3 changes will be merged into 4.0 and a new 3.3 branch will be created with a smaller set of updates and long awaited bug fixes.
