Duplicate Entries in PATH After Applying 'Refine Gentoo on Windows Subsystem for Linux' Blog Post 'sys-apps/baselayout' Patch

     I found your 'Refine Gentoo on Windows Subsystem for Linux' post via Google while searching for something else. I tried applying the 'sys-apps/baselayout' patch you provided there as a user patch as directed, but this ended up leaving me with duplicate entries in my 'PATH,' so I reverted the change. One other thing I tried was creating a series of patches that:

1. Applied your work
2. Brought a copy of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS/Fedora Linux 'pathmunge()' shell function retrieved from a Web source in
3. Fed the result of step/patch 1 through the result of step/patch 2 before 'export'ing my 'PATH' variable,

but I couldn't get all three patches to apply properly, so I abandoned and deleted them. Let me know if you ever end up posting a working patch in an overlay, I guess?

P. S.: Oh, wait, you go on to mention this afterward, but I hadn't read further yet. Eh-heh… 🤦‍♂️
