Add multi-platform build support and artifacts

Need CI/CD support for multiple platforms to ensure compatibility and provide pre-built binaries.

Requirements:
- Test on major Linux distributions, macOS, Windows
- Support different architectures (x86_64, big-endian)
- Generate downloadable artifacts for each platform
- Test with different compilers (gcc, clang, MSVC)

Implementation in PR #1181
