Hello,
If I followed the idea well, one of advantages is "Self-hosted locally"
However in prerequisites page https://www.surfsense.net/docs
I can read that external ETL services are involved, and to me it sounds like an end of privacy, since my data files are processed by third parties services, so they do not stay local and go outside anyway
Please correct me if I am wrong

While I don't mention this in the docs, Unstructured.io also has an open-source version that you can deploy yourself and use that.
Let's be honest, that's hard to set up, and most users won't be able to do it. One contributor is currently working on adding Docling, which I believe is easier to set up than the open-source version of Unstructured.
