hi, I have run this software for a couple years now and tho I am pretty content with it I wonder if it is possible to advise me on if there is a way to get higher framerates with the webm container?
I currently configured ssr to record at 60fps however the output framerate is only like 10fps or less. I have tested with and without compositing and that does not appear to affect the recorded framerate. also defining the processor demand to slowest does not affect framerate nor does increasing bitrate.
it would be great to know how to get 60 (or more than 10fps videos) out of the webm encoder, since mkv files are so space intensive I am attempting to make clips of streams for web upload.
thanks for making this software, any help is appreciated.
running gentoo linux, software updated within the last month or so.
UPDATE: framerate appears to be fine recording some programs and not others, possibly to do with media encoding? re-recording media is very slow whereas I recorded some 3d program (vpuppr) and that had decent fps.
