I am still investigating. At the moment i think that it just takes really long to establish the wifi connection (2 min +), which i cannot explain. On my testbench it works seemlessly. Maybe it has to do with the casing blocking parts of the wifi signal, but i don't know. Nevertheless while the device is trying to connect to the wifi, one is unable to control the fans via the knob. Therefore we should put the wifi stuff on a different thread to not block the control.

I am sure it as to do with the wifi connect part of the AutoConnect library. I had the issue myself and my device is without any shielding around
