                <h2>Introducing to JATS XML</h2>
<p>JATS is the abbreviation of Journal Article Tag Suite</p>
<p>It is in fact an XML that is used, to describe the scientific literature, published online</p>
<p>You really have to see it as a technical standard, that serves as a structure / or foundation for online publishing</p>
<p>Who Basically allows you to describe, the textual and graphical content, of journal articles</p>
<p>It should be noted, that JATS is widely used by big names such as Elsevier or Springer</p>

<p>The structure of the metadata is enriched with tags made, precisely for the publication</p>
<p>It will allow a more efficient and accurate, transmission of documents, to other environments</p>
<p>You should know too that some journal indexers, like pubMed require XML as input (and jats would be perfect for that use)</p>
