Packages now can set deprecated to a boolean or a string when a package gets deprecated. It would be nice to somehow distinguish packages that have this set and on details display the message if it is set.

So as part of the search filters changed the search to not display deprecated packages by default and added the option to include them in search. Adding a bit of text to indicate deprecation will be my next task.

You should also be able to pull the deprecation text (if provided) from the package author.
