Does DietPi run DOOM? Let's help it do so! I would like to do a code bounty for GZDoom and some kind of wad and .pk3 launcher like QZDL.

It looks like there is an ARM .deb for GZDoom. QZDL is also native.

I will put money down to help get this developed. Thank you!

For my own info: So QZDL is a Qt implementation of the ZDL Doom launcher: https://github.com/lcferrum/qzdl

Where did you find the ARM DEB packages?
No commit since 6 years, so will need to check whether the precompiled (x86) binaries still run on modern Debian, and whether the source code still compiles with modern toolchain.

GZDoom looks good maintained and with DEB package releases: https://github.com/ZDoom/gzdoom

Looks doable. We'd probably try to provide own bundled builds (QZDL or other launcher + GZDoom).

On Raspberry Pi 5, the X11 bug is fixed in 9.14. FreeDOOM and all the options work great. I am going to install some mods using the GZDoom launcher and file a bug report if there are issues.

Great. I will add qZDL as separate software option next release. When selecting GZDoom, qZDL will be offered as useful extension.
