Would it be possible to enable sorting by Area?

Allocating devices to an Area within HA is common for grouping devices in the same room. Whilst it is possible to create a parent child relationship with remaining child state entities it would be cleaner to reuse the HA attributes.

It would also be significantly easier for less experienced users.

That would be nice. I will keep it in mind for the future.
My current focus will be to simplify the card because configuration is too difficult.
