Hi LIS community,
For comparing NOAH LSM with CLSM-F2.5, do both of them be run using the same resolution parameter files (such as land cover, topography, albedo, greenness fraction etc) as both NOAH and CLSM-F2.5 simulations are done at 0.25 (run domain resolution).
For CLSM the parameter datasets are available at 0.25 deg resolution (https://portal.nccs.nasa.gov/lisdata_pub/data/PARAMETERS/clsm25_parms/GLDAS_0.25-deg/) and my run domain is
Run domain lower left lat: 6.375
Run domain lower left lon: 66.375
Run domain upper right lat: 38.375
Run domain upper right lon: 99.875
Run domain resolution (dx): 0.25
Run domain resolution (dy): 0.25
For NOAH, I used 1km parameter files (land cover, topography, albedo, greenness fraction etc) and the run domain was over the same region given above having 0.25 deg resolution.
So can you please let me know if this leads to any inconsistency incase of a comparison study between NOAH and CLSM-F2.5?
Thank you
Gayathri
