Disable globus archiving on Hercules?

I want to make a test run on Hercules to compare timings I am seeing on other machines, but I am stuck setting up my experiment because it needs information about globus archiving to mercury, which is not a system I have a login for. How do I turn off this option so that I can just make my timing run?

@benjamin-cash Apologies for the late reply. If this is still an issue, you have two options:

1. Disable archiving altogether (preferred as archiving takes up a lot of space). This can be done by setting DO_ARCHCOM=NO in config.base.
2. If you need to retain the COM structure for restarts, you can store them locally by setting ARCHCOM_TO=local in config.base. You will also need to set a valid root location for storing the tarballs, set with the variable ATARDIR in config.base.
