As part of the cost reduction program that we are implementing, we need to analyze and trim utilization of our S3 buckets. As of now, we are storing 800TB ++ of data in all three environments and regions. This is costing us significantly.

  • Trim usage of Cloudtrail
  • Script to analyze costs vis-a-vis standard and tiering
  • Script to empty un-used buckets

Cloudtrail issues have been resolved with the help of Diwakar.

Since we lost access to our own Cloudtrail, there is a parallel request with WOC to add our admin user privileges to have RO access to the WOC configured cloudtrail.
