This task is to refactor the WRDS TF repo to rename it to EKS to repurpose the VPC as EKS host VPC. This will also prep the VPC to support a larger subnet for use by the EKS cluster deployed and separate it from the other resources usable subnet.

  • Refactor and rename all WRDS references to EKS (note that sensitive repo is untouched for now)
  • Add code to support EKS and provide a separate subnet for the EKS cluster
  • Add VPC endpoints for the ssm, s3 and messages
  • Split TF state on a per account basis but the workspace state within the same S3 bucket in region 1
