OSM evidently has "proposed" highways that should be removed from our pull_osm_bridges.py script. The screenshot below is in HUC 12020001.

Zahra and I reviewed the data looking for all that have a bridge_type ending in razed, proposed, abandoned, destroyed, dismantled, demolished and felt it was ok to remove them all. We spot check a number of records with those prefixes and confirmed it was safe to remove them.

ie) highway-proposed, railway-destroyed, highway-razed, etc
