## ISSUE-17 · 🔵 (Agentic)— Material Cost Index Integration

Connect the backend to external hardware store APIs to get real-time material costs.

Required Changes

1. API Integration: Connect to Home Depot or Lowe's product APIs.
2. BOM Parser: Parse the "Bill of Materials" extracted from the SOW and map them to standard SKUs.
3. Cost Aggregation: Pull real-time prices for the mapped SKUs in the local area to form the Material cost baseline.

Acceptance Criteria

• System reliably queries external APIs for accurate SKU pricing.
• Returns a summarized total estimated material cost for the project.
