When a zone uses zone multipliers, the HVAC equipment is sized to (zone loads) x (zone multiplier). For example, if a thermal zone has fan coils and a zone multiplier of 10, the model will use one fan coil sized at 10x the load, rather than 10 separate fan coils. HVAC equipment efficiency lookups use the capacity inclusive of multipliers. The equipment efficiency is usually tied to equipment size, so in the fan coil case, it may use equipment efficiencies of a larger system, rather than 10x smaller ones.
This issue is to account for zone multipliers by default in equipment efficiency capacity lookups, with an override option to use equipment capacity inclusive of zone multipliers. And also change the equipment name to say something like 10 x 24 kbtu/hr unit instead of 240 kbtu/hr unit.
