nemoguardrails currently doesn't support langchain-core releases >= 0.4.0. LangChain is getting ready for their 1.0.0 release, and it would be great if nemoguardrails could at least start to support pre-release 1.0.0 versions. This would allow libraries that use both langchain-core and nemoguardrails to start the upgrade / testing process.

Thank you @awg66 for opening this issue. Yes, we have it under our radar. LangChain v1.0 is currently in alpha (released in early September 2025) with the stable release planned for late October 2025. We should be able to add support once the stable v1.0 is released.

Hi everyone, sorry to get back to you late. We've been coordinating on the release timeline. This will be included in the 0.19.0 release, which we expect to ship by the end of next week.
