[Bug] Filtering is not reliable

Describe the bug

The filtering doesn't seem reliable. Often, the app list doesn't change after hitting apply in the filter list. Also, "Save apps list" using "filtered list" doesn't always use the current filter. "Save apps list" using "All apps" doesn't export all apps.

"Closing" (by swiping from the recents list) the app or force killing it, sometimes but not always resolves the issue temporarily by allowing the apps list to be updated according to the selected filters.

Expected Behavior

Expect filtering to work more reliably
