As suggested by Kyle K. at 10/07/2024 04:53 #data-fmri channel in Neuromatch Academy CN Server (during course of 2024), differences between the 3 notebooks provided could be better explained, specifically, to know which one contains resting state data and which one contains task fMRI data.
In case it is useful, here is a summary of my observations when briefly reviewing the 3 notebooks:
Notebook "HCP 2021 + behavior" uses .tgz file 2y3fw
-- It contains behavioral data (accuracy and reaction time) and task fMRI data of 100 subjects while doing the following tasks: EMOTION, GAMBLING, LANGUAGE, MOTOR, RELATIONAL, SOCIAL, WM
-- It contains code for an analysis of the fMRI during MOTOR task
Notebook "HCP 2021" uses .tgz file s4h8j
-- It contains behavioral data (accuracy and reaction time) and task fMRI data of 339 subjects (not overlapping with the ones used in the previous notebook, assumed by the different ID system used) while doing the following tasks: EMOTION, GAMBLING, LANGUAGE, MOTOR, RELATIONAL, SOCIAL, WM
-- It contains code for an analysis of the fMRI during MOTOR task
Notebook "HCP 2020" uses mainly .tgz file bqp7m but also downloads .tgz files s4h8j (the one from notebook "HCP 2021") and x5p4g, as well the .npz file j5kuc
-- It contains rest fMRI data of 339 subjects (same IDs of Notebook "HCP 2021") while at resting state
-- It contains behavioral data (accuracy and reaction time) and task fMRI data of 339 subjects (same IDs of Notebook "HCP 2021") while doing the following tasks: EMOTION, GAMBLING, LANGUAGE, MOTOR, RELATIONAL, SOCIAL, WM
-- The .npz file contains the parcellation on the fsaverage5 surface and approximate MNI coordinates of each region
-- It contains code for an analysis of the resting state fMRI
-- It contains code for an analysis of the fMRI during MOTOR task
Please let me know if you would like me to add more information.
