Can potentially skip the QGIS work for default values that shouldn't be there by including clean up in function (6 of one or half doz the other). Prob better practice to do it in dff but including here as this function should happen next round of exports probably anyway so might be quickest route. see NewGraphEnvironment/dff-2022#119 (comment)
