Bug: reading a blessed scroll of cloning while polymorphed and confused does not create a loyal clone

Describe the bug
When polymorphed into a gargoyle, reading a blessed scroll of cloning while confused creates a gargoyle which is listed as "tame" but will attack as if hostile.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. As a healer, with a ring of polymorph control, wand of polymorph, unicorn horn, potion of confusion and blessed scroll of cloning
2. In the context of wizard mode, (I have not tried outside wizard mode) on dungeon level 1.
3. Do this: put on the ring of polymorph control, zap yourself with the wand of polymorph, quaff the potion of confusion, then read the scroll of cloning. Apply the unicorn horn until the confusion ends.
4. See error: a gargoyle is created and is listed as tame according to the ";" command and the stethoscope, however it will not act tame at all, it will attack you.

Playing locally on Manjaro Linux, usually a locally built SpliceHack executable. I have encountered this bug in both the 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 branches.
