Currently the CLI module is more or less a prototype that is in-lined into the Application class. Really it should be far more extensive in functionality and within its own class file.

The general style of the CLI module is written and enough functionality exists to perform anything you'd need at a fundamental level. Additions to it are of course welcome, but the design is solid now.
