A key action from the European glider workshop is for there to be an update to contribution guidelines to clarify the process and role of the OGDMTT.
@justinbuck is to draft new text and share for community review ahead of feedback by the OG steering team.

Great move @justinbuck ! I agree that we do need to clarify these procedures. Let's close this issue and move all the discussions to #74? Closing as many issues and PRs as we can help us to keep the focus on what is needed. I'll let you decide if it is OK to close this issue.
