Is this an issue with compare_view or only jupyter_compare_view?
And what browsers show this problem?

I've just tried in different browsers: Here is the outcome:
Firefox & Safari: No Problem!
Google Chrome+Chromium: Problem from the screen recording above
Microsoft Edge: Double click opens context menu, as can be seen here::
