App on Alternative port #30

I have managed to get apps like Merp on google play to connect and selects the database and works fine.

im running on port 80 is the app open to all ports and defined as 111.111.111.111:80 or does the app force port 8069 on all addresses entered.

Any help as it seems odd other apps are compatible with odoo
