Color format other than 8bit makes the video much brighter #75

Describe the bug
When using a color format other than 8bit (like 10bit) the video get much brighter than its supposed to be

  • The issue only shows up on:
    • OBS preview
    • Recordings
  • The issue does NOT show up on:
    • The spout source window
    • The OBS scene window projetor

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to OBS File > Settings > Advanced
  2. Select a Video > Color format other than 8-bit
  3. Apply

Expected behavior
The video should not get a lot brighter, see screenshots

  • OBS Version 31.0.1 (64bit)
  • OBS Spout 2 Source Plugin Version 1.8

About Your Machine :

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 Gigabyte (8GB)
  • AMD: Driver Version Adrenalin 2024.1127.1945.2044
  • RAM: 64GB
  • Machine Type: Desktop

Additional context
Issue only seems to affect the spout sources, a window capture is not affected
