Setting custom time resolution

Is it possible to have 8 hours as the default time resolution?

If you go into settings, you can set the start and end hour, as well as the default interval.

Let me reform the question.

In the default time resolution, there are three choices: 15mins, 30mins, 1 hour. Is it possible to create other ones too, such as "8 hours"?

I guess when you refer to the "default interval" you mean the Schedule Start Hour and the Schedule End Hour, which I have respectively set to 9:00AM and 11:00 PM.

I think it's about handling fixed-length-shifts. Like e.g. Morning from 6am-1pm; Day from 1pm-7pm and Night 7pm-midnight.
I vote for that, too.
