Here we can start writing down learnings, concerns, informal feedback, concerns and difficulties we have encountered in this first round.

Consider content related feedback but also feedback related to operations, communication, etc.

Different source of truth for content and assignments

I got feedback from my mentee Jose Ocampo that there were differnet sources of "truth" in the program, the emails, the website and also the repositories. The amount of sources of info and instructions were a bit confusing for him. Also at the beggining the different curriculums on the website, the google docs, and the repository.

Ideas to solve this:

Have only one source of truth published. We can still use drafts in google docs, but only one place for the curriculum in the website.

Confusing and overwhelming list of tools

Kevin used the business model canvas and the personas examples put in the tables during week 2. We site the Business Model Canvas and I got the feeling that some people, specially those that might have a challenge with english didnt really get which canvas we were talking about the Business model canvas or the Open Canvas. On the other hand the Value Proposition canvas is also a canvas.

Ideas for solutions

Reduce the uncertainty by 1) Selecting just a couple of tools 2) Making step by step tutorials with an example so that people know how to do the excercise step by step.
Demo the tools with concrete examples, these can be separate content in guides. We could for instance point to a specific tutorial and say, follow the tutorial to do assignment x.

Having too late the 1st cohort call

We should have started the program with a first cohort call for mentees, like we did with mentors.

Ideas to solve it

We might also want to duplicate cohort calls twice a week and divide tasks there, this is what Aby and Chad did usually, breakour rooms in a 1st cohort call can also make an impact.
