A benchmark could vary a lot from a cpu gen 1 and a cpu gen 10.
Example : an i7 - 930 (generation 1) desktop cpu is pretty slow in comparison to an i5 - 10210u (generation 10) mobile version. Same happen to Ryzen cpu's
