I am sure many of the links are dangling.

some comments:

  • a possible online link checker is https://validator.w3.org/checklink
  • the software page seems to need the most work (on the other hand, other pages might be easier). A first look at the software page might become one or more new issues

Jan willem, could you just go ahead and fix links (redoing the software page if necessary) and at some time (soon) declare victory on this issue and close it.

plan was to do on openmath.github.io everything but the software page first, then make an inventarisation of the software page for a possibly new issue. I agree this can be done soon. For the software page we probably want to contact the partners for new addresses, so it might take a bit more work and time.

this is #7

a lot of internal links are missing a trailing /, e.g. https://openmath.github.io/society
This should probably be fixed in Jekyll config
a good place to find broken links (other than software) is also the oldnews page.

the oldnews page is something we can only partially fix. I did some of that manually, and I am happy with the state it is in now. So I would accept all broken links there and concentrate on the other ones.
