COP - changing grass detail radius and returning to the game crashes engine

Describe the bug
Changing grass settings actually requieres restart to apply, otherways it crashes

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. ESC during gameplay then options and change grass parameter
2. apply changes
3. Go return to game
4. crash

Expected behavior
It either should give message that game restart is needed or it should apply settings immediately.
In either way the engine crash should be avoided.
