I have this issue with 1.12.2 where on both my aternos server and my client whenever i press play on my selected stream will freeze my game and eventually crash it. I am currently using the latest version of OpenFM (OpenFM-1.12.2-0.1.0.19.jar. a log from my aternos server can be found at https://mclo.gs/l6ykfE8 and i believe the same sort of error occurs durring the client. i've played with these mods before and it worked. . . maybe a mod i'm not aware of is doing this but I am not sure. also for my client i dont know how to get a crash log.

The server doesn't appear to crash, if this is a client side crash I will need to see client logs. Client crash log will be in whichever directory Minecraft is running from, if you launch Minecraft, go to the resource pack list, and then open the resource pack folder that will get you to the directory Minecraft is in. You can then go back one folder and there should be a log folder of some sort in there.

okay. . . started working like normal. . . maybe something to do with the format of the shoutcast. . . is there something i should do to avoid the crash? I'll send the log as soon as i can recreate the crash.

Have you been able to find the problem?

I'm still not seeing any crash, and I can't reproduce this. is there a 'crash-reports' folder in your Minecraft directory? If so upload the newest crash report that mentions OpenFM.

thats wierd. . . because every time i do that the game freezes and when i "restore the program" it kicks me back to the title screen. either that or i just hit terminate process and just close it.
i'm not sure

Ah, so you're not seeing an actual crash, just the process hanging until you close it, or you force it to drop you to the title screen. Well that's going to be even harder to track down then.

well honestly i think its because of the /stream at the end of the url maybe.

The stream 'http://192.99.16.207:8022/stream' played fine for me for about 20-30 minutes. 'http://193.181.41.3:8040' appeared to be down when I tested it.

SO confused right now. do they just work whenever they please or what cus now idk. i had to manually go into mcedit to delete the radio blocks because it wouldn't even let me reload my server. but now it works? my head hurts.
