Repo doesn't appear to work with latest VulkanSDKs

Running these across any chapter produces loads of errors.

My setup - Windows 11 - VulkanSDK 1.3.296.0 - Nvidia 4090

A few people mentioned this recently. I think it's due to validation layers improving since we first published the book. I'll try and take a look when I have some bandwidth, we also welcome PRs :)
