can anyone push the android studio version of panic button, eclipse is not officially supported.

do i need to change fabric api key for running the app? if so from where can i get it? cause i am not getting sms alerts to set phone number.

You need to go to settings and give manual permissions for sending SMS and location services. Latest dev branch is pointing to API 23 where runtime permission support related changes are yet to be merged to dev branch. So, once you give manual permissions, you should be good to go.
