Context Menu Icons Are Stuck in the Dark Theme #1836
Comments
Xfce is one of DE that doesn't support symbolic icons (not everywhere yet). That makes impossible using GTK themes like Arc-Darker, Numix, Yaru, ... alongside with monochrome actions icons. There are a few workarounds for these DEs:

I also opened the issue with the Numix team. They're looking into it as well. I linked them to this thread. I'll copy/paste my last response. I know the issue is closed, but maybe this will still be useful. |
@mknepper hiding the icons in the context menu is a good workaround for Numix: But I don't know how to hide icons in this menu: |
For some reason, the context menus on most themes except Arc have a weird issue. I'm using Papirus (not the dark or light theme, just the regular one provided from the ppa) and when using Numix GTK (all versions) I get this bizarre context menu problem. The issue exists in Audacious, right clicking the desktop, inside Thunar, etc.
This happens when I select the regular Papirus theme. I'm not doing any crazy tweaks, just defaults with the newest Papirus theme provided from the Git repo.
