Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating an open, inclusive, and respectful environment for all contributors to the project. This * Code of Conduct* outlines the expectations for participant behavior and provides a framework for resolving conflicts.

Our Pledge

As contributors and maintainers of this project, we pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:

We are committed to:

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.

Examples of Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable within this community:

  • Offensive or derogatory comments related to race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention, comments, or behavior.
  • Trolling, insulting, or derailing conversations.
  • Publishing personal information of other participants without their consent.
  • Threatening or intimidating others.
  • Disruption of discussions or attempts to prevent others from participating.
  • Engaging in any other behaviors that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project maintainers at [email/contact info]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and in a fair manner.

If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the project maintainers may take any action they deem appropriate, including but not limited to:

  • Issuing a warning to the participant.
  • Temporary or permanent ban from the project.
  • Revocation of contributor rights.

Accountability

Maintainers and project members are expected to hold each other accountable and lead by example. We encourage open dialogue and respectful disagreement, but all disagreements must remain respectful and professional.

If you see someone behaving inappropriately, we encourage you to step in and politely address the behavior. If you feel uncomfortable doing so, please reach out to the project maintainers for support.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces related to the project, including but not limited to:

  • GitHub repositories and pull requests
  • Issue trackers
  • Discussions and other online community spaces
  • In-person events (if applicable)

Reporting

If you are the subject of, or witness to, unacceptable behavior, please report it as soon as possible to the project maintainers. Reports should be sent via [email/contact info], and will be handled in a confidential manner.
