Current DMG file for app 2.0 will not mount #18
Comments
Could you provide a picture? I'm not able to replicate this problem, but I'll attach a link to another download if that helps. |
Try this link |
Hmm ... Maybe I am completely losing my mind. That one came up with the same error. The file size was about 1.4MB smaller than the original download. Do you think the issue could be on my side? Other DMG files open fine ... |
Hmm... maybe restart your computer? I have no idea what would cause that. |
I'm having the same issue (with both dmg files above). I also don't have this problem with any other dmg images, so I don't think the issue is on my end, but I'm happy to experiment a little for you if you'd like to try other ideas. |
I am also having the same issue. I downloaded disk image and it simply states no mountable file systems. |
I tried a different DMG creation software for this one. Maybe this will work? |
If that doesn't work, try this link. It seems to be an issue with the OS version. https://deciphertools.com/blog/2017-10-02-no-mountable-file-systems/ "In most cases, the downloaded dmg file is actually corrupt or had an error downloading. If possible, try downloading the dmg again, turning off any download assistant plug-ins you may have. You can try downloading the file in a different browser as well. Or if you don't need to be logged in to the site to download the file and you want to be fancy, you can try curl -O url in Terminal to download the file. (There's an example of that in my screenshot below.) Reboot your Mac if you haven't already tried that. Apparently there is an issue sometimes after opening too many dmg files, that is fixed with a reboot. Try mounting the DMG on the command line in Terminal. We will at least get some sort of useful error message to go on if it still fails: Open Terminal: In Spotlight, the search magnifying glass at the upper right corner of your screen, search for Terminal, and press enter to open the Terminal app. Type hdiutil attach into the terminal. Don't press enter yet. Drag the dmg file from your Finder window onto the Terminal window and let go. This will fill in the location of the dmg file into your Terminal window. Press enter. |
The new dropbox linked sufficed for me. Thanks for the help. |
Yep. That one works for me, too! Thanks so much Peter, keep up the excellent work! |
Works for me now too. Thanks! |
I've updated the link on the website. Could you let me know if that one opens for you all? |
dropbox links works, but new link does not. |
New link on website works for me. |
New link on site works |
The file linked on the "app" website for version 2.0 will not mount - maybe it is corrupt?
