I know the plugin doesnt care which IDE you use, but if you are on Windows and have not manually installed Maven - the only version installed with be the one that was bundled with Intellij.

When creating a new project in Intellij for Maven there is a list of Archetypes - is there a way to add the p4j archetype to this list so all steps can be done from within Intellij?

I also like the idea. This would make the setup process more comfortable.
The only thing to do is to push the archetype to central maven, or?

Hi @mlvandijk, how do we get Pi4J as a new archetype in IntelliJ IDEA... Asking for a friend :-)
