There are undoubtedly many package managers that people would like to use. Personally I would like to be able to install this using:

  • Homebrew bottle
  • AUR on Arch Linux, as a step towards getting it into official pacman repositories

Ideally binaries would be available, but I'm running Manjaro Linux on the Pinebook Pro which has an ARM processor, so I can't use many binaries and usually have to compile stuff anyway. If we don't have ARM binaries it doesn't help me right now.

I'm interested in helping with package managers, but I have zero experience.

I do not plan to provide additional packages for rtw or publish it to repositories other than crates.io.

However if someone wants to open a PR to package rtw I'll be happy to merge that.
