Ultrasound Simulator: Creating a new scene

Dear All,
Thank you for this valuable framework, essential for solving many problems related to research in US and IGT systems in general.

I'm trying to use the ultrasound image simulator, I have to build a scene from scratch and I would like to understand if there is any advice on how to manage this operation (adding 3D models in the original vascular model scene was not immediate). I would also like to understand if there are references for setting realistic acoustic properties, I found some values in the literature but it is not clear to me how it is possible to convert these values to those used in the configuration file.

If by any chance you know of any other US simulators that are more recent and easily integrated into Slicer3D, please let me know (although I imagine there is a small conflict of interest ;-) ).
