Bugfixes since v1.4 RC2:
- Fixed an ambiguous switch case that newer compilers didn't like.
New features since 1.3:
- Added retry rate! The Retry Rate display mode shows the percentage of retries for the current channel, over the last 200 data frames that it heard. Just like in the Channel and Live Data Rate modes, the
+
and-
buttons switch channels, and the retry rate is reset whenever the channel is changed. - When Serial Mode is enabled, the Packet Potato shows whether the data frame was a retry or not, along with the retry rate for the channel.
- Serial Mode is now enabled by holding down either
+
or-
at the end of "Potato" scrolling across the screen. The Packet Potato looks for the input when "to" disappears, but you can hold it down as long as you want during the start up animations with no ill effects. - Added an idle animation. If the Packet Potato doesn't hear any input or frames for awhile, the display will animate. Once an input is given or a frame is heard, the animation automatically stops until the Packet Potato is idle again.
- 5.5 Mbps now appears as "5" on the screen, but it shows up correctly as 5.5 in Serial Mode.
With this update, display modes are ordered like this:
- Live Signal Strength (
MGMT
LED) - Live Data Rate (
CTRL
LED) - Retry Rate (
DATA
LED) - Channel (default)
