The title says it all. If I edit file A and want to save a piece from it to file B, I cannot open a blank file to do that. I need to first save, maybe copy the part to other editor and then resume to file A.

Hi!

This was requested long ago and is already planned for development. Meanwhile, you can try using Calcpad in an external editor. Here are the plugins:
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/Calcpad/tree/main/Setup/Syntax-for-external-editors

They all has more powerful editting capabilities than Calcpad. We will iclude them as well, but it will take time.
