System: Linux Mint 19.1
QTodoTxt2 Version: 2.0.1

When i want to change the priority of a task via button or shortcut, nothing happens.

I can confirm the issue using QTodoTxt2 on Kubuntu 20.04.
Priority works as expected if I manually edit the entry with (A) or (B) etc.
But the GUI methods don't work. Choosing the action from the menu or using the keyboard shortcut does not work.
Also "create new task from template" does not work.
Installed from qtodotxt2_2.2.0.1_all.deb
