Thanks I'd like to give 🙌

  • Thank you to @steff456 for submitting the conference proposal!
  • Thanks to @gabalafou for user testing script review!

Updates from last week ✔️

  • JupyterLab user testing for common workflows #184 I've been updating the draft script based on feedback and made the requested interest form.
  • Notebook authoring tips draft is not a public PR. I also have been turning this into slides and a review checklist for the upcoming STScI hackathon.

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

  • I don't think I have anything now.

My availability for next week

  • I'll be here all week.

Thanks I'd like to give 🙌

  • @isabela-pf for creating Google doc to put down our goals through the end of the grant.

Updates from last week ✔️

  • I worked towards deliverable: Tab trap in JupyterLab notebook code cell #168. I know I said I would have the PR up before now, but I kept running into little issues and playing whack-a-mole. I promise this is going up today as PR against the JupyterLab repo.

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

My availability for next week

  • I'll be here!

Important items for discussion 💬

  • Nothing from me today.

@steff456
- Submitted SciPy proposal
- Working on Google Season of Docs proposal - missing metrics and will share for review
- Deadline is the 24th of March -> need to share this with JLab folks at the next team meeting (8th of March)
- Move onto the theming extension right after the 1st draft of the season of docs submission

@isabela-pf
- Run through the testing scripts w/Gabriel and Stephannie and made changes/adjustments
- Working on notebook authoring guidelines and checklist -> next, finish synthesising learnings from user testing
- Wrap up tasks for user testing: scripts, email with w/our details, and consent form

@gabalafou
- 🎉 🎉 Getting his tab-trap up in JupyterLab 🎉 🎉
- Lab - there is a feature freeze already
- @trallard to ping Dharhas and Mike to review the nightmare PR on focusable elements
- demo on the focus visible around the notebooks cells
