RISCOSS Analyser

The RISCOSS project will offer novel risk identification, management and mitigation tools and methods for community-based and industry-supported OSS development.

RISCOSS will deliver a decision-making management platform integrated in a business-oriented decision-making framework, which together support placing technical OSS adoption decisions into organizational, business strategy and broader OSS community context.

The RISCOSS analysis engine is the component of RISCOSS that aggregates the different analysis algorithms considered in the RISCOSS platform to perform risk analysis and mitigation.

In particular, for the risk analysis phase we consider two main classes of techniques: Bayesian Networks and Model label propagation algorithms that works on RiskML models.

The other side, for risk mitigation purposes, together with the previous techniques, we consider also Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Case-Based Ranking (CBRank) and Search-Based algorithms (such as Genetic Algorithms).
