Any way to skip creation of image_2025-01-30-raspios-lite.zip etc archives? SKIP_IMAGES not doing anything

I am building all the way to stage5 and am wondering if there's any way to skip the creation of the image_blah.zip archives at the final step. I put SKIP_IMAGES files in the prior stage folders but that didn't seem to prevent the creation of the archives. Thanks
