Create GPT Isos

With RPi 5 supporting NVME it's becoming increasingly easy to exceed the 2TB MBR limit. Can this be updated to support GPT?

I think it would be a good option to have. But it's not going to be a high priority because I'm not sure how useful that would be right now.

The firmware doesn't have thoroughly tested GPT support and I don't think it supports drives with 4k sectors at all.

Also pi-gen is primarily intended for building the official images, which need to support older hardware with baked-in bootcode. Even if the firmware issues get resolved, those older devices won't be able to support it.

Although we can't make use of it for our images, I think it would still be useful to provide the option.

In the meantime, take a look at rpi-image-gen, which may be more appropriate, depending on your use case.
